AI, Clean Tech & the Future of Sustainable Fashion
Roboro, with Dr. Liping Liu and Professor Rui Rui Zhang, explored the intersection of AI, clean tech, and sustainable fashion, highlighting tools to reduce textile waste and advance circular practices. The panel shared strategies for integrating sustainability into the fashion supply chain and the role of technology in addressing environmental challenges.
Earth Month Costume Design Workshop
For the past two years, as part of the Academy Museum’s Earth Month celebration, Roboro’s founder, Jillian Clark, has led teens in hands-on workshops creating upcycled costumes from materials saved in TV and film production. Participants learn practical ways to combine creativity with sustainability, while exploring Jillian’s career and Roboro’s mission to “end textile waste.”
Sustainable Merch in the Music Industry
Roboro joined an all-female panel of industry leaders at the Music Sustainability Summit to explore how artists can make merchandise more sustainable. The panel highlighted practical strategies for balancing creative, financial, and environmental priorities. It also featured a discussion of Roboro’s work with artist Chappell Roan, giving attendees actionable insights for responsible practices in music and fashion.
